What goal are you working on now?
This is a difficult question. Some days it’s a struggle to (pretend to) be marginally functional. Actually making it through the day is surprise gravy. On the brighter side of life, I am working on my second book of short stories.
What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?
Reincarnate. I so hope this is the last leg of my soul’s “journey.”
Did you choose your profession or did it choose you?
Writing and I chose each other, I think. My ‘regular’ job (data entry) is just to make ends meet. Once I get my freelance writing business back up & running, I will cheerfully kiss it goodbye.

Have you ever gotten lost?
I’ve always felt lost.
Physically speaking though, yes, I’ve gotten lost more than a few times. The scariest time was in the Batha ( pronounced Bata’a) Souq in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Batha at the time, was a dark maze of narrow dirt paths that lead you seemingly in circles. Somehow I became separated from my group of shopping buddies, and man, I was scared. There was no one to ask for help because even if they did understand English, they’d pretend they didn’t. It took around an hour, but I did find my friends and made it back to the compound in one piece.
