Agatha-June’s green camo silk gown flowed gracefully around her thick ankles as she descended the stairs. Her barbaric elegance was enhanced only by the darker sweat circles forming under her armpits. Bobby-Fred, her date for the Bubbaville High School prom, was mesmerized by her beauty — his mouth hanging open in wonder. Suddenly, she gripped the railing with all her might as the heel of her stiletto snapped under her weight. Three acrylic nails flipped off her sausage-like fingers as she bounced, decorating the orange shag carpeting with lavender-lacquer blossoms.
When she made her final THUMP at bottom of the staircase, Agatha-June announced, “Dadgummit! I knew I shoulda changed into my Chuck Taylor All-Stars!”
