drew me in like

flies to honey.

I wanted to hear —

if moths cry as they flutter

eagerly into their fiery demise.

    I wonder why they do it? Is it the light that attracts them, or the warmth of the flame?
    Maybe they should be called an Icarus rather than moth. Some of them are so beautiful.

      I think it’s the same reason that some of us like the bad boys. We know what will likely happen, but we do it anyway. That’s kind of a weird comparison but, it’s 5:30am here. :-)
