A Star

It’s Quadrille Monday over at the dVerse Poets Pub! Our writing prompt is Magic. Exactly 44 words.

A roomful
of people or
even a nightclub
when you looked at me
and grinned
that crooked grin
Poof!
the world disappeared.

Just you and me.

Sometimes that magic still happens
when I gaze at the midnight sky
and wonder

which star is you.
