The Other Half

It’s open link night over at the dVerse Poets Pub. I decided to create another nonet using a line from Postscript by Seamus Heany: One side is wild with foam and glitter .

One side is wild with foam and glitter —

kaleidoscope of dancing snow.

Conversely, its other half,

a cacophony of

apathy in gray.

Like you and me:

forever

joined at

odds.

  1. Wow, this is incredible, Susan. I love the complexity of this piece, and you entwined the line from the poem well into your own. It fits like a glove, as they say. Beautifully penned. <3

Excellent Susan – very well conjured… I think Seamus himself would have raised a smile and tipped his cap to this piece… Bravo!
