Radiance Contorted

It’s Quadrille Monday over at the dVerse Poetry Pub. Jade/Li is our host today and she has given us the writing prompt, Way.

Admittedly, she was a radiant bride.

No groom ever looked hotter in a tux —

It seemed normal.

What told the tale

The way you looked after

The I-dos.:

Desperation and regret

contorted your face

as you scanned the crowd

for the one that got away.
