Limerence

The cinquain poetry form was invented by Adelaide Crapsey and consists of 22 syllables following the challenging 2/4/6/8/2 pattern. The theme is limerence.


Midnight

fireflies shimmer

the sweet summertime breeze.

Champagne bubbles tickle my nose

We kiss.
