It’s time once again for Cyranny’s One Minute Fiction Challenge. The visual prompt is the image above.

Okay, so Frank told me to take a long walk off of a short pier. Sounds simple enough. Check!

Then what? He didn’t say.

Am I supposed to keep walking? What about when the water gets too deep? I suppose I’m supposed to swim, but how far?

It’s aggravating as hell when people don’t provide explicit directions when they ask you to do something.

I mean, do I look like a mind reader?

    I love it!
    I was told to SOD OFF once. I wasn’t sure what to do. I don’t even know what SOD means. Isn’t SOD squares of grass? People should be more specific.
