      1. Sorry indeed…. Busted!

I like how Karla got lost in the games and went down memory line – that was poignant. (And my story today was slightly similar as my main character at first was going to get rid of the games but then decided to keep a few). I also like how Karla opened the door with a redit card and the two lines you devoted to that action – with the “wiggling and jiggling” really gave us a feel for how this used to be a way to unlock doors…. (but nowadays, it likely would not work on locks – right? And I wonder who carries cards with digital wallets)

      2. Thanks so much for the detailed comments. Much, much appreciated. Actually, a couple of months ago a guy unlocked a door for me at work with a credit card. Took m Maybe two seconds. I got the feeling he’d had some practice. LOL! Anyway, so glad you enjoyed!

      3. oh…. so some doors can still be opened that way – good to know – and pretty funny that the guy at work knew how to do that.
On a side note, we use door jammers when inside the house = we got the tip from a family member as an inexpensive security hack. The door jammer is a pole that is placed to fit under the doorknob and stops the door from being pushed open –

  6. Oh jeez! Choose three but maybe the fact the door was locked and she still went inside was a sign that she was looking for trouble! Love that she was so engrossed in the options, though.

Oh that ending leaves us hanging. Could be a good thing. Could be a terrifying thing. You should choose Sorry doesn’t bode well. Well done.
