You know how it is when a roving bunch of flowers and a carpet of plants get together. Nights of mass pollination, abuse of Miracle-Gro, and slinging compost hither and yon.
Pets were terrorized and people were pissed.
So, since Chester’s Charm of Finches had already flown south, the townsfolk enlisted Paula’s Passel of Pigeons to handle to job.
Eventually, the rogue flora was contained in the red phone booth, aka The Rock. The telephone was removed, just in case. Who knew? Maybe plants carried cash.
To prevent cross-pollination and other such hanky-panky, Parker was installed as a pigeon guard.
