Dazzled

It’s Quadrille Monday over at the dVerse Poets Pub! Today’s task is to create a poem of 44 words using the word, fill.

It was mid-July when I saw you

for the first time.

Stars dazzle the midnight

sky but quickly fade

compared

to the stars in my eyes.

Your voice like

warm scotch:

smooth

rich

velvet.

The moon

full and bursting

gold.

You hung it,

yes?

    You hung it, yes?

The moon helping out on the occasion, apparently!
